This is literally the fastest and cutest hair do I have ever done. I do it all the time and it takes less than 5 minutes. It's a twist then you braid it into a fishtail. It takes some practice to get the fishtail, but once you figure it out it's easy. Just follow the directions below!
1. First you want to start with your hair brushed out. It doesn't have to be straight. Part your hair so it has more hair on one side than the other.
2. Then take a 1-2 inch piece of hair from the side with the most hair. Try to take it close to your part.
3. Twist the piece of hair toward your head.
4. Take a bobby pin and pin it towards the back of your head, but not in the very back.
6. Pull all of your hair to one side. Separate it into 2 sections.
5. With the section of hair closest to your neck take the closest piece to your neck. (I'm holding both sections of hair in one hand because I found it easiest to hold one finger between them and have the sections in one hand while I grab a small section of hair)
7. Take that small section and cross it over the top of the section that it's coming from and place it the section of hair farthest away from your face.
8. Then take a small piece of hair from the section farthest away from your face. ( When you take the piece out make sure that it's the farthest small section from your face)
9. With the small piece from step 8 cross it over the piece that it's coming from and place it in the other section.
10. Keep repeating 5-9 until you get to the end. (At the beginning it may not look like a fishtail but once you get into it it will)
11. Once you finish tie it off with a ponytail. If your fishtail is super tight then you can just pull on it to loosen it up.
12. If you look closely at the picture you can see that my twist was hanging way out there, so if that happens to you just hold the twist while you take the bobby pin out. Tighten the twist. Then repin.
If you're in a big hurry instead of a fishtail you could just braid it. That's pretty much it! If you have any questions don't be afraid to ask below.
