DIY: Hair Bows!
Lately hair bows are everywhere! Many people buy tons of bows for up to $10 each. I haven't bought a bow.... ever! I've always made my own bows. To save you money you can just make your own bows and it takes under 30 minutes! Just look below and follow the instructions!
1. First you need scissors, fabric, hot glue gun, hair clip, and a ruler.
2. Extra: If you want sparkles then you will need some jewels.
3. Take your ruler and measure out a rectangle, 9 1/16 in. x 7 3/16 in. Cut out another rectangle that is, 1 6/16 in. x 6 15/16 in.
4. You should end up with 2 rectangles as shown.
5. Using the smallest rectangle, take your hot glue gun and draw a line down the center of the rectangle.
6. Fold up the bottom of the rectangle to the top of the glue line. Then draw another glue line at the top of the end of the fabric.
7. Then fold the top of the fabric down over the glue line. Set it aside.
8. Using the largest rectangle fold up the bottom to about half way.
9. Then fold the rest of the fabric over, so you end up with a long rectangle.
10. Fold the rectangle in half and crease it.
11. Unfold the folded rectangle. Fold the end to the crease that you made.
12. Fold the other end to the crease that you made so that it's just overlapping the other side.
13. Scrunch up the bow from the top to bottom so that it takes the shape of a bow. Also, use your glue gun and make dots in the creases.
14. Use the rectangle that you set aside earlier and start from the bottom and wrap it around the bow so that wraps all the way around the bow twice.
15. After you wrap around twice then cut off the end and glue it to the back.
16. Draw a thick glue line on the back where you just glued the end of the rectangle.
17. Place the hair clip on the back.
18. Then you're done!
If you want a little sparkle...
1. Make a glue dot on your bow.
2. Place a jewel on the glue dot. Then continue around the bow until it's just how you want it.
3. If you have any glue strings then just pull them off. And you have sparklified your bow!

Hair Tutorial: Twist to Fishtail
This is literally the fastest and cutest hair do I have ever done. I do it all the time and it takes less than 5 minutes. It's a twist then you braid it into a fishtail. It takes some practice to get the fishtail, but once you figure it out it's easy. Just follow the directions below!
1. First you want to start with your hair brushed out. It doesn't have to be straight. Part your hair so it has more hair on one side than the other.
2. Then take a 1-2 inch piece of hair from the side with the most hair. Try to take it close to your part.
3. Twist the piece of hair toward your head.
4. Take a bobby pin and pin it towards the back of your head, but not in the very back.
6. Pull all of your hair to one side. Separate it into 2 sections.
5. With the section of hair closest to your neck take the closest piece to your neck. (I'm holding both sections of hair in one hand because I found it easiest to hold one finger between them and have the sections in one hand while I grab a small section of hair)
7. Take that small section and cross it over the top of the section that it's coming from and place it the section of hair farthest away from your face.
8. Then take a small piece of hair from the section farthest away from your face. ( When you take the piece out make sure that it's the farthest small section from your face)
9. With the small piece from step 8 cross it over the piece that it's coming from and place it in the other section.
10. Keep repeating 5-9 until you get to the end. (At the beginning it may not look like a fishtail but once you get into it it will)
11. Once you finish tie it off with a ponytail. If your fishtail is super tight then you can just pull on it to loosen it up.
12. If you look closely at the picture you can see that my twist was hanging way out there, so if that happens to you just hold the twist while you take the bobby pin out. Tighten the twist. Then repin.
If you're in a big hurry instead of a fishtail you could just braid it. That's pretty much it! If you have any questions don't be afraid to ask below.

The Secret to Soft Skin...
Since fall is coming I thought that it would be good to tell you how you can get the softest skin ever! First of all you need a lotion. I like Victoria Secret's PINK lotion and Vaseline. You can use a variety of lotions and products, they don't have to be the same one's that are mentioned. In the fall it's not too cold, but it's chilly! Which means that your skin will dry out faster. Here are some tips to help you stay soft:
1. When you get out of the shower lotion up! (If you do this after you shave your legs will be super soft!)
2. Put lotion on in the morning too.
3. Make sure to drink a lot of water throughout the day.
4. Wear sunscreen if you're going to be outside at all even if it's not that hot. It will protect your skin and keep it healthy looking.
5. Exfoliate! If you have dry skin chances are that you have flaky skin in some areas. If you use a sugar scrub, or exfoliation scrub twice a week your skin should stay soft!
Those are just a few tips on keeping your skin super soft through fall and winter!

Olay Fresh Effects!
Recently I have been saving to buy a Clarisonic brush. I don't have bad acne just some once in awhile, I have super sensitive skin though. I was also looking at off brand brushes like the Olay Pro brush set. One of my concerns was that it wasn't going to work for me. I found the Olay Fresh Effects brush one day and decided to try it because it was only $8. I tried it the first time and I noticed a big difference in my skin. I've been using it for about 2 months now and have no complaints. My skin is dry and gets flaky. Usually I would exfoliate with my hands but I couldn't get it all. When used the brush to exfoliate it took a bunch of flakes off that I didn't know I had. The next day my skin was the softest it had ever been. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to try a cleansing brush but doesn't want to spend all the money. It can fit in your hand too so you can travel with it easily. You can use any cleanser that you want with it just make sure to clean the brush thoroughly after. It's also waterproof so you can take it in the shower. I love this product and would rate it 4 out of 5 stars! ( I got mine at Target, but most drugstores have them)

I have been searching for the best beauty gurus on YouTube and I found a few that I am absolutely in love with their videos! My number one favorite beauty guru is Macbarbie07 Her videos are amazing and she has a variety from DIY's to makeup how to's and outfit ideas. She is super fun to watch and everyday I am just hoping there's a new video! I love to watch Michelle Phan's videos too.
